He begins setting out to ruin Christmas for the Whos with his loyal dog Max and a reindeer he met named Fred, though the movie takes a turn for the better when he meets Cindy Lou Who, a kind-hearted girl who wants to thank Santa for helping her hard-working single mother. When he encounters her, he begins to realize that true happiness comes from the connections with others. In the end, the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who returned everything that he stole, and he apologized to the Whos, who got them to join in a heartwarming feast, and embrace the spirit of Christmas with those all around him instead of the loneliness he’s used to. This Christmas movie embraces the spirit of Christmas, kindness, and the joy of a community.
