On Monday, October 6, the Fighting Irish struck through the Ellet Orangemen for the win. It was a meaningful night for the Irish as it was Senior Night. Before the match began, Seniors Rylee Hoover, Ella Kim, Evelyn Sevald, Kerrigan Sivak, Zoey Walters, and team manager Davonte Shelton-El were all recognized for their dedication and commitment to the team over the years. It was a very joyous night for the girls, however they still had a job to do against Ellet. The Fighting Irish won the first set 25-14. In the second set, the Fighting Irish won 25-8, and won the third set 25-4! Following the victory, the Fighting Irish have a record of 10-9.

The night had only just begun for the ladies, as they still had their celebration and recognition after the match. There was a lot of crying, not sad that it was over, but happy that they got to be apart of such a wonderful team. Outside of the LeBron James Arena was a poster board
