St. Vincent- St. Mary High School hosted the seventh-grade visitation on Thursday, April 16, 2026- a tradition of Catholic schools that has lasted decades. The STVM students, faculty, and staff are so grateful that our local seventh-grade students were able to attend! If you are a seventh-grader who was unable to attend, be sure to ask your parents to contact our admissions office to set up a shadow day. If your son or daughter will be a seventh grader next year, be sure to contact the admissions office to ensure your school’s attendance.
The day started as students arrived at the main arena door, where they were welcomed by the STVM Marching Band, who had recently returned from Disney World. Luckily, they saved a bit of that magic to start the day off strong. If you’re interested in the band, be sure to check out their Instagram.

Each school was met inside by a personal STVM ambassador and tour guide who stayed with the elementary school all day.
The official start to the day was a beautiful Marianist prayer service- Setting the Table. The STVM Campus Ministry Director, Julie Goshe ‘92, began the blessing and then handed the microphone to the STVM Marianist Leaders: Jude Rothkopf ‘26 and Isabella Incorvia ‘26.
The seventh graders were then able to rotate through eight sessions. They experienced an English class, a math class, a science class, and a social studies class. Seventh Graders also had the opportunity to attend the world language fair and check out the fine arts department. The students were treated to a snack and a drink while they filled out a prayer puzzle piece, then saw a theater performance by the STVM Leprechaun Guild.

Our seventh-grade visitors enjoyed an amazing lunch from Chick-fil-A and a Dole Whip or chocolate ice cream. After lunch was over, everyone returned to the arena where there was a pep rally led by our Green Street Elite leaders and Student Council leaders – even Leppy made an appearance!
The event wrapped up with a quick robotics competition, with the winning robot receiving a prize for every student.
As students were ready to leave, they listened to our amazing STVM choir perform a beautiful song.
Overall, the day was enjoyable for all. The STVM Broadcasting team hopes our seventh-grade visitors had as much fun as we did!
