Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Louisville 2/13/2026
On Friday, February 13th, 2026, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s Fighting Irish Boys Basketball took on the Louisville Leopards in a back-and-forth battle for the win. The game took place at 7:30 PM in the LeBron James Arena.
The Louisville Leopards came into this game as the previous year’s Division III State Champions, so the Fighting Irish knew they would be in for a difficult matchup.
Going into the half, St. Vincent-St. Mary led 25 – 23 and then scored an impressive 20 points in the third quarter. Louisville outscored the Irish in the fourth quarter; however, the Irish managed to cling to their lead, winning the game 54 – 45. Seniors Caleb Hill and DeCarlo Prince led the Fighting Irish, each scoring 15 points in the game.
Make sure to catch the Fighting Irish at home at 7:00 PM when they take on the Wooster Generals in the Sectional Final on Friday, February 27th.
