Celebrating 40 years of excellence at the STVM Showcase
Mark your calendars for Saturday, 18 April, as we at STVM and even you will be celebrating a milestone event at House Three Thirty! The STVM Showcase is a tradition dating back to 1986 and will turn 40 this year. We’re throwing a party to represent the year it was born, so it will be 80s-themed.
Supporting Students and School Spirit.
For decades, the showcase has raised funds for scholarships and supported student clubs, from robotics to model UN. Our alumni are coming together to make a difference, and we can’t wait to see the impact they will have. The main idea behind this showcase is to raise funds for scholarships and support teachers’ professional development, made possible by the funds raised at the showcase. Since the early 2000s, the showcase has helped raise funds for scholarships available here at STVM. Some things people have given to support us have been funds to help lower the cost of food at STVM, and the water fountains were provided to you through a fund established by one of our very own donors. Most items here at STVM were purchased through the showcasing events’ biggest donors, including computers, smartboards, and even the desks. The showcase also helps set tuition at STVM for new and returning students.
A Night of Talent and Community
Students may get involved and show off their skills! Whether they’re a photographer, performer, or just want to help, they can sign up through the online flyer. Over the years, at each showcase, the theater’s students have come together to perform plays for the attendees.
Get Involved and Attend!
Students who will be volunteering, this is your night! Share your ideas, talents, and energy. Alumni, come back and show your STVM pride. See you on April 18!
