On September 10, 2025, St. Vincent-St. Mary’s girls soccer team faced off against Poland Seminary at Green Street Stadium at 6:45 P.M. The STVM girls went into this game with a record of 4-3. The STVM girls team started the game slowly, allowing 2 goals. One goal was allowed through penalty kicks, while the other goal was allowed through a missed block. With their backs against the wall, the girls team started to heat up at the right moments.
They began to play tighter defense while playing more aggressive offense. This would eventually
lead to a goal by Ava Shaker VM28. After this point, they began to gain momentum and went into the half only being down by one goal. The second half mainly consisted of defensive saves by the goalies. Both offenses were struggling to get in rhythm, which was noticeable until the end of the game.
