Everyone gathering on blankets, eating breakfast, and watching the sunrise from high atop a hill in Akron.
In the early hours of the morning, our senior class participated in a class bonding tradition known as Senior Sunrise. They shared a breakfast made possible by Mrs. Faetanini along with a few seniors. They graciously dedicated their time to making pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon.
The seniors showed up in their pajamas and brought blankets to sit on and converse with friends as they waited for the sun to make its appearance.
The sun greets us every day, and the seniors who participated in Senior Sunrise found this greeting to be especially meaningful. The sun symbolizes a start to a new and exciting year. As they go on this journey into a new chapter of life, the seniors know that no matter what, the sun will always be there for them as the light at the end of the tunnel.
